We know your time is valuable, so we will get right to the point. How much will your video cost?

We don’t know.

The best we can do at this stage is to educate you and ask for information. Our hourly and daily rates are simple, and they’re at the bottom of this page. But there’s no way to know how much your video will cost without engaging in a formal requirements and proposal process.

A Chalk-Talk or A Bigger Vision?

Requirements gathering is where we get the mechanics of what you want, but it also is where you let us in on your vision. At this point, the canvas is blank and the sky is the limit. Sure, it’s a simple Powerpoint presentation that you want filmed – and we can give you that. But if it’s for an annual company meeting, maybe this is the time to think a little left of center and get creative.

We can help you with that and it may make the final product more exciting and entertaining to watch.

If it’s a simple 60-second web commercial we likely can get enough information from a phone call and an email or two. Web commercials run in the $500 – $1000 range but can certainly go higher.

There are usually three stages of a corporate video production:

• Pre-Production (Requirements, Brain-storming, Script, and Shotlists)
• Production (Lights, Camera, Action! (plus Audio, Actors, and whatever else is needed)
• Post-Production (Editing, PPT Slide Integration, Titling, Motion Graphics, Logos, Output for Web and Disc, Duplication, etc)

Rates

One initial meeting and a written proposal is free. When possible we will give you two different estimates for different budgets.

Scripting, meetings, and other Pre-Production tasks are $25 per hour. The better prepared you are at this stage, the less we need to be involved.

Our shooting rate is $225 per hour with a two-hour minimum. A half day (four hours) is $700 and a full day (eight hours) is $1200. This includes one camera, basic lights, and audio. Multiple shooters and specialty gear (such as cranes, car-mounted cams, teleprompters, greenscreen) is available as well.

Our post rate is $75 per hour, with a four hour minimum.
